Availability
We are doing this tour in May-June and September-October (not in summer). Winter (November-April) it’s subject of weather, bear can sleep or not. You can have amazing pictures with bear on snow or … nothing.
Target species:
Brown Bears Hides:
Of course, the stars, Brown Bears but also Red Deer, Roe Deer, Red Fox or Wild Boar can be seen in front of the hide, together with some forest common species as Jay, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Stock Dove, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Black Woodpecker, Chaffinch.
We recommend you to use 2 tripods and 2 cameras. A long lens for birds and distant bear and a short lens (70-200) because sometimes you can have more bears in front of you, bears close to the hide or some action of 2 bears.
Birds hide:
It’s a hide with drinking pool and feeders, attracting Chaffinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Syrian Woodpecker, Greenfinch, Great Tit, Willow Tit, Common Redstart and even Red Squirrel.
With 500-600mm lenses, you’ll have full frame birds, with 300mm, you’ll have birds mirroring into the water.
