Experience an exclusive wildlife photography adventure in the heart of Bulgaria’s Balkan Mountains, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to capture stunning images of Cinereous and Griffon Vultures, and Golden Jackals. This private tour is designed for passionate photographers and nature enthusiasts who want an intimate and immersive experience, spending 2 or 3 days in a professional hide.

The price is per person (accommodation in a double room), per tour, it is in euro (EUR). *For 1 and 3 persons, a single room is included.

Bookings are based on a 30% deposit from the full payment of the program.
Cancellation Policy
More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip ( you will receive a voucher available 2 years).
Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.

ENGLISH guidance – specialized assistence (during the tour);
2 or 3 days in hide, by your option, with local guide;
Accommodation in double room, bathroom en suite, for the number of nights you choose;
Breakfast to go;
Transport to/from hide.

Additional day tour, to discover the area, for wildlife and landscape photography – 300 euro (up to 4 pers)
Children policy:
Minimum age to participate is 12
Children over 12 years are charged as adults
Responsibility of children’s supervision during trip belong to parents.
Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival & Hide Introduction
Meet at the Balkan Mountains location (exact details provided upon booking).
Briefing on the vulture hide experience, photography tips and ethical wildlife practices.
Settle into your accommodation.
Day 2 & 3 (4) – Full Days in the Hide (Your Choice: 2 or 3 Days)
Early morning, before sunrise, transfer to the professional hide.
Your guide will provide all necessary information, take you to the hide and set you up for the day. The guide is a professional Vultures Staff, from the local NGO.
Full-day photography session, with excellent opportunities to capture vultures in flight and at feeding sites.
Return to accommodation in the evening for rest and review of the day’s captures.
Additional Guided Photography Session (Optional)
Explore the surrounding landscapes and photograph other wildlife species.
Guided by an experienced local expert, providing insights into the area’s biodiversity.
Ideal for capturing the stunning scenery of the Balkan Mountains.
Final Day – Departure
End of the tour at the Balkan Mountains location.
Accommodation: You will stay in a comfortable local hotel that meets a 3-star standard. The hotel offers cozy rooms with ensuite bathrooms, ensuring a pleasant and restful stay after long days in the hide. The accommodation provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and reviewing your photographs.
Meals: Breakfast is provided to go by the hotel, as you will start very early in the morning. Lunch can also be ordered to go from the hotel. If you prefer to bring your own food, please read our blog post carefully for important guidelines (scroll down for link). Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant or at another restaurant in town, offering flexibility based on your preferences.
Conservation Concern
This tour is more than just photography – it’s also about conservation. We’ve partnered with FWFF (Fund for Wild Flora and Fauna), the organization managing the Green Balkan Vulture Conservation Project in the area. A part of tour tour fee directly supports their efforts to protect and restore vulture populations in the region.
