Capture stunning images of brown bears from professional hides and a diverse array of bird species from specialized hides, all set against the breathtaking landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains.

✅ Brown Bear Photography (2 Afternoons) – Witness and photograph wild brown bears from a professional hide in the heart of Transylvania’s dense forests. Our hides are strategically placed in prime bear habitats, ensuring the best chances for close encounters and dramatic shots.
✅ Bird Photography (2 Mornings) – Spend two mornings in bird hides, capturing passerines in their natural habitat. The hides are designed for unobtrusive observation, providing excellent lighting and close-range photography opportunities.
✅ Breathtaking Carpathian Landscapes – Explore the untamed beauty of Transylvania, with its ancient forests, rolling hills, and rugged peaks, creating the perfect backdrop for nature photography.

Booking
- Bookings are based on 30% deposit. You’ll receive a payment link.
Cancellation Policy
- More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years). Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
- The remaining balance can be paid on arrival at our boarding point in cash or by payment link (LEI/RON or EURO).
Included in this price:
- Accommodation at 3* standard, in double room, for 3 nights
- Half board (dinner on the first day, breakfast and dinner for days 2 and 3, breakfast on day 4)
- 2 evening sessions in hide for BEARS
- 2 morning sessions in BIRDS hide
- ENGLISH guidance – specialized guide
- The transfers on water from Tulcea to Mila23 and back
- Fees for visiting the Danube Delta

Children policy:
- Minimum age to participate is 12
- Children over 12 years are charged as adults
- Responsibility of children’s supervision during trips belong to parents
Itinerary Overview
🛬 Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Transylvania
- Pick-up from Bucharest Airport (morning arrival preferred). Latest pick-up hour is 11:00.
- Scenic drive to the Carpathian Mountains (approx. 4-5 hours).
- Check-in at our cozy guesthouse and enjoy a delicious local dinner.
📸 Days 2 and 3: Birds & Bears
- Morning: Bird hide session – photograph a variety of woodland species.
- Afternoon: Bear hide session – witness and capture wild brown bears in action.
🚗 Day 4: Transfer to Tulcea
- After breakfast, we head toward Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta.
- Drop-off in Tulcea, where you’ll continue your Danube Delta adventure.
Conservation Focus
This experience is rooted in conservation. The hide was built with a specific goal: to reduce conflict between humans and bears. By feeding bears in this controlled environment, they are deterred from descending into villages, ensuring the safety of both locals and wildlife.
By participating in this tour, you directly support these efforts and contribute to preserving Romania’s unique natural heritage.
