Extend your birding tour with BULGARIA option, a tour targeted especially on VULTURES but also on other species of birds. Our guides knows very well this places and on every season they’ll know how to lead the tour to show you the most interesting species of birds.

You’ll be guided to the amazing nature of Bulgaria, searching for VUTURES, (Griffon, Cinereous and Egyptian), species saved and recovered with a huge effort. Of course, many other species are waiting for you.

Booking

  • Bookings are based on 30% deposit. You’ll receive a payment link.

Cancellation Policy

  • More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years).
  • Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.

Included in this price:

  • Accommodation at 3* level, in double room, for 2 nights
  • Half board (dinner on the first day, breakfast and dinner for day 2, breakfast on day 3)
  • ENGLISH guidance – specialized birding guide
  • 1 day birding tours on mainland (car and low level trekking)
  • Fees for visiting the natural areas visited.

Optionally:

  • Lunch meal – the price is 15-25 euro/pers in local restaurant, on the way, usually pay in cash.

The price does not include:

  • Beverages, other than water
  • Lunch meal
  • Insurance of any kind (travel, goods, etc.)

Children policy:

  • Minimum age to participate is 12
  • Children over 12 years are charged as adults
  • Responsibility of children’s supervision during trips belong to parents
  • All children will wear life jackets during boat trips

Itinerary

Day 1 – Pick-up| Transfer to Bulgaria | Evening tour

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Tulcea, in the morning and transfer you to Bulgaria. Check-in to the accommodation and evening tour. Dinner is to the accommodation.

Day 2 – Departure to the day tour |  Dinner

Usually departure is before breakfast (only if the group members decide to take breakfast to the accommodation we depart after), with breakfast to go.

The guide will stop from place to place to scan and show you the target species of birds. At lunch, you’ll have a stop somewhere on the way, at a local restaurant or in nature, if you have lunch to go.

The route will be designed to see Vultures and other birds species from your list.

The tour is ending sometime in the afternoon, to the accommodation.

Dinner to the accommodation.

Day 3 – Breakfast | Transfer to Tulcea (Romania)

After breakfast, the guide will transfer you to Romania, to continue the trip to the Danube Delta.

Shared Program

Being a SHARED program, this means the whole group goes with the same car/boat, at the same hours (hours detailed in the program). Please be on board at scheduled time for both.
