Birdwatching Tour to the Danube Delta - 3d/2n SHARED 2025
A short but intense experience: birding tour of 3d/2n, with an evening session + a day of birding to the Danube Delta, with a professional guide and boat built for this purpose. We are here all year around and we know the best places for the species you want to see. Groups are up to 8 persons.
What is included: Transfers on water from Tulcea to Mila23 and back; 2 nights of accommodation in a 3* guesthouse in Mila23 Village; half board; a professional birdwatching guide; an evening session + a day boat tours dedicated to birding, starting at sunrise, to the Danube Delta.

Booking
- Bookings are based on 30% deposit.
Included in this price:
- Accommodation at 3* guesthouse, in double room, for 2 nights to the Danube Delta;
- Half board (dinner on the first day, breakfast and dinner for day 2, breakfast on day 3)
- Evening session + a day birding boat tours
- ENGLISH guidance – specialized birding guide
- The transfers on water from Tulcea to Mila23 and back
- Fees for visiting the Danube Delta
Optionally:
- Lunch meal – the price is 15-19 euro/pers at each guesthouse or in Letea Village (payment directly in cash, RON or EUR, to the guesthouse)
- Bucharest (including Airport) transfers – 300 euro/car/one way for 1-6 persons
The price does not include:
- Beverages, other than water
- Lunch meal
- Insurance of any kind (travel, goods, etc.)
Cancellation policy:
- More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years).
- Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
Children policy:
- Minimum age to participate is 12
- Children over 12 years are charged as adults
- Responsibility of children’s supervision during trips belong to parents
- All children will wear life jackets during boat trips

Meeting and boarding
The departure for this trip is from Port Tulcea Aval. In order to complete the payments (if any) and to communicate regarding the boat you will go to Mila23, we will be waiting for you at our boarding point, at 14:30.
Transfer and accommodation to the guesthouse
The transfer to Mila23 take 1 hour and it is done with the local transport boat (we’ll do all the bookings). You’ll debark to the accommodation pontoon.
Once in Mila23, quick check-in then departure to the evening birding session.
Day 2 – Half an hour before sunrise start the sunrise trip | Breakfast | Departure to the day trip | at sunset, dinner
This days, every day, half an hour before sunrise start an early morning trip searching for different kind of birds. The guide will choose the best destination every day, based on our fresh information about birds.
Come back for a late breakfast then start again on trip, on different type of habitats, to maximize the chances to see the largest number of species of birds.
Breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, lunches (optional) on the way, during the trip. The guide will give you all the details every day.
Day 3 – 8:30 Breakfast | 9:30 Transfer to Tulcea | End of the program
Also this transfer is done with medium speed, mostly on the same way as on Day1, searching for the last birds to show you.
